Some of the main advantages that
laptop computers offer us are the possibilities to work and connect to
Internet wherever we are, making use of wireless nets, without having to be plugged into the electricity mains. But running out of
battery at a certain moment in time can cause the loss of information that hasn't been stored.
To avoid minor mistakes and to to control our
laptops battery we have a small desktop application, known as
Wibox, that also allows to check the level of
wireless nets that are within the computers reach.
Thus, with this practical widget it is possible to
monitor both the name and the status of a
Wi-Fi net. And view them comfortably on the desktop as a graphic representation, that show yellow rings that determine the available signals strength. What's more, we can leave
Wibox working in the background, minimized in the system tray.
To be informed at all time of your
Wi-Fi connections status,
download Wibox.
Requirements: This application requires that you have installed .NET Framework 2.0 or above.
